Sometimes a piece comes out of the tumbler with a personality of its own. This large piece was part of a batch of reclaimed glass I was tumbling, and when I pulled it out, I immediately thought it looked like a firefighter’s boot.
Its unusual shape was not intentionally cut or formed. The piece simply developed this silhouette through the tumbling process, which makes it a fun one-of-a-kind find.
Approximately 2¾ inches tall by 2½ inches wide, with a smooth, frosted finish and softly rounded edges.
